The contest is held by “Levant and Partners” law firm in collaboration with iTrex translation agency. It is the first joint venture of this type in the sphere of jurisprudence.
“Precedent” is located on page www.itrex.ru/legal_competition.html. All the experienced practicing lawyers, beginners and everyone concerned with legal process can take a challenge. The contest will be a checkout of young lawyers’ abilities and juridical competence. To provide the legal service market with advanced and promising specialists is one of the aims of this contest. With the agreement of the contestants their contact information will be transferred to law firms.
After filling the registration form on page www.itrex.ru/legal_competition/registration.html the contestants should suggest their solutions to legal cases in two spheres of legal practice: intellectual property and private international law. The contestant may either choose one or two (each from a different sphere) cases to resolve. The choice of the spheres of legal practice was defined by their current urgency, obvious to the contest moderators.
Daring ideas and original approach are highly encouraged; no one is going to be fined or banned! The freedom of your creativity isn’t limited by anything but the Law! Every good deed goes unpunished!

Both on-line voting and professional jury will name the winners of the contest. 7 contestants will become prize-winners of the “Precedent”. Equally available for English and Russian audience, voting will start on 8 May: all the contesting solutions will be presented in the two languages.
