The Association of Independent Directors brings together existing independent directors of Russian and foreign companies, corporate directors, as well as experts interested in becoming independent directors in Russian companies. This is an influential body in which leading Russian companies are represented: Gazprom, Sberbank, VTB, Rusal, Tatneft, etc. The mission of the Association is to assist Russian joint-stock companies in increasing the efficiency of their activities by introducing best practices.
Irina Krasikova, partner at the law firm Levant and Partners, noted: “We are sincerely pleased to have the opportunity to join the Association of Independent Directors and make our contribution to the formation of this important public institution.
